Choosing The right session

It’s important to find out if client and coach are a good fit, and it’s sometimes good to just have a quick chat with someone; either way, the 15 min free virtual chat will suit you best.

If you already know you want a one off 90-min coaching session, then the 1:1 coaching session below is the one you’ll want.

Both will open in Calendly which will help you find a spot in your calendar that suits us both.

Here you can find a sample list of topics that Sam can support you with.

All calls can be arranged via Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, FaceTime, Whatsapp video or audio, or even a phone call!

A man with dark skin and a topknot hairstyle is sitting on a light grey sofa in a modern living room. He is wearing wireless earbuds and a black t-shirt, holding a laptop on his lap. On the laptop screen, a video call is in progress showing a woman with red hair tied up, glasses, and a blue top, smiling and looking directly at the camera. The room has a large window with natural light coming in, a radiator beneath it, and a metal chair in the background. The scene conveys a casual, comfortable video conversation.

Pre-diagnosis Autism Review

A young fair woman with long dark hair and rosy cheeks is sitting indoors by a large window with condensation on the glass. She is wearing a cosy beige knitted sweater with a high collar and smiling warmly while looking at a laptop in front of her. She holds a ribbed ceramic mug with a latte topped with foam art in her right hand. The setting includes several green potted plants and a soft, neutral-toned background, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere.
I have a copy of the test created by Dr Simon Baron-Cohen used by psychiatrists to score you or others to establish if they are likely to be able to receive a formal diagnosis.  Getting a formal diagnosis in the UK is incredibly hard as a teen or adult, because many people with ASD have already started masking or mimicking. Those who have been able to hold down a job, get married, start a family, or buy a house often find it even more challenging.  It’s also hard if you are a female as we present differently to the male brain.  But this is all we have for now.

Let me know if you’d like me to run through the test with you so you have a good idea of where you are on the spectrum.  It can help to answer a few questions for you and prepare you for a conversation with your doctor if you wish to pursue a formal diagnosis.

NB: To be crystal clear, what I offer is NOT a formal diagnosis and will not help you to get any benefits or help from other organisations.  I am NOT a psychiatrist.  It is unlikely to help you to obtain accommodations at work either.

Waiting lists for Autism, ADHD, and combined assessments can be as much as five years! I know I got fed up of being fobbed off by GPs and knew that even if I get a referral I’d be waiting a very long time. I got my private RTN diagnostic assessment (that is suitable for children (6+) and adults) recently and couldn’t be happier.

Assessments follow NHS Gold Standard Guidelines, NICE Guidelines, and are completed by HCPC Registered Psychologists. They were the perfect blend of friendly, reassuring and professional.

The RTN team are well versed on different profiles such as PDA, and the inequalities experienced by autistic/ADHD women and girls. Please note that prices may be subject to change and these are only the adult pricing. Please check their website for current info. https://www.rtnmentalhealthsolutions.com/

Turnaround times are approximately 12 weeks and are financially accessible. (Some private assessments are over £2000!) When you book, the process will begin within seven days. They even have a payment plan to spread the cost out if you need to.*

A woman and a man are seated facing each other in a bright room with large windows. The woman, wearing glasses, a light blue blouse, and black trousers, is sitting on a wooden chair with a notepad and pen in her hands, appearing attentive and engaged. The man, dressed casually in a white t-shirt and black trousers, is seated on a similar wooden chair, gesturing with his left hand as he speaks. A round clock is visible on the windowsill behind them. The setting suggests a professional or therapeutic conversation, such as a counselling or coaching session.

You’ll feel relief, validation and a sense of identity that is hard to describe. I did.
