Where can I practise speaking?

Toastmasters International offers a safe environment to practise speaking in front of others with constructive and kind feedback, leadership opportunities and a chance to polish your speaking skills not matter what level you are at.

Shropshire Speakers is one of these clubs that meets in-person every 1st and 3rd Wed of the month (at Admaston Community Hall, Wellington, Telford) 7.20pm-9.30pm GMT. If you are driving, plan to arrive approx 7.05pm so you can get free parking near the venue.

The members are friendly, warm, supportive and create a safe environment to practise speaking, build confidence and work on enhancing their leadership skills.  You will never be forced to do anything you are not ready to do. You can just watch if you like.

It’s free to attend as a guest as many times as you like.

It’s one of my favourite places to be, and I have learned so much, received useful and insightful feedback, met some amazing and lovely people and would not be without it in my life.
